Our Mission

Mercy Missions is a life-affirming, & anti-racist organization that uses non-carceral solutions in the struggle towards our collective liberation which is the freedom to thrive in safe & sustainable communities from conception to natural death.

Our Vision

The criminalization of poverty is a direct attack on the Gospel of Life which leads to broken families and abortion strongholds. Mercy Missions believes that by actively demonstrating God’s love through the practices of transformative and redemptive justice, community level interventions and racial reconciliation we can permanently disrupt this cycle of violence.

Our Focus

Our areas of focus address the direct attacks against the Gospel of Life. These pervasive strongholds create abortion vulnerable communities which in turn leads to violence, death and generational pain. By disrupting this cycle of death, Mercy Missions hopes to create a culture where healed people heal people instead of hurt people hurt people.

Lauren Handy

Unashamedly pro-life, Lauren confronts the culture of death head on! Since becoming Christian, Lauren has learned of the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love. When not engaging in Servant Evangelization you'll find her in front the local abortion center; boldly living out the command in Proverbs 24:11-12.

Emma Mysko

Since becoming a born-again Christian, Emma has been committed to showing God’s grace to all through her actions. She is especially passionate about ministering to underprivileged children and helping women in crises such as unplanned pregnancies, post-abortion trauma, and abusive situations. As we’re called in 2 Corinthians 1:1-7, Emma hopes to be able   to bring comfort to those in suffering, as Christ did for her.
